What this video is about
This Honest Trailers video humorously deconstructs Christopher Nolan's 2006 film The Prestige by comparing its plot points to modern pop culture references and exaggerating the rivalry between magicians Robert Angier and Alfred Borden. The narrator jokes about the movie's themes of obsession, sacrifice, and time travel while poking fun at specific scenes involving twins, Tesla technology, and a steampunk setting. Through rapid-fire comparisons to other movies and celebrities, the segment highlights how the film elevates its craft-focused narrative beyond a simple twist ending.
