What this video is about
Linus Tech Tips reviews the new Steam Frame headset, evaluating its performance as a standalone VR device that runs Steam OS without requiring Meta data sales. The video highlights significant innovations like ARM processor support for games while critically examining limitations such as LCD screen fringing, blooming artifacts, and battery life that drops below one and a half hours during streaming. Although the hardware offers high-fidelity PC VR experiences with impressive optics, the reviewer notes that comfort and immersion do not quite match previous generations or top competitors.
